Biography

Guillaume grew up in Bordeaux, France, where he discovered circus at the age of ten. As he developed his passion in various circus schools, he was able to touch upon many disciplines including trapeze, hand-to-hand, juggling, hand balancing, acrobatics, dance, acting, trampoline, and teeterboard. His training took a serious turn when, at fifteen, he entered the National Circus School of Châtellerault, in central France. At eighteen Guillaume moved to Canada to study at the national circus school of Montreal where he specialized in teeterboard and fixed trapeze while continuing to improve on all other aspects of circus. After graduating from the national circus school with a diploma and his self-choreographed trapeze solo, he began working as a professional circus artist. His career has included performances at the Olympic Closing Ceremony in Torino, Italy, the Montreal Jazz Festival, Festival of Querétaro, Mexico, Circa Festival in Auch, France, the Norwegian Children's Telethon and many more. Guillaume is now pursuing his passion with the company Les 7 doigts de la main in their new creation (2009).
